How do I complete AML Training?

Learn how to complete a free AML training course to stay in compliance with carrier requirements.

We recommend using one of two main free AML training providers:

LIMRA AML Training

The most widely used and widely accepted AML vendor is LIMRA. Their training course can be accessed by visiting aml.limra.com. Please see instructions below for accessing their training system:

Logging In

To log in to LIMRA’s Compliance Education Platform, you must be enrolled by at least one carrier. If you're newly licensed, please contact the Gen3 contracting team for more info. If you have already been enrolled, please follow the steps listed below.

  • On the Login Page, enter your Username and Password in the spaces provided. Please note that the login function is case sensitive.
  • Click on the Login button.

Username

For most people, your Username is your National Producer Number (NPN). If you do not know your NPN and would like to look it up, please visit the National Insurance Producer Registry's website.

If you do not have an NPN, your carrier may have provided you with an alternate Username. If you are unable to locate it, please contact CFM Partners' Helpdesk at (866) 364-2380 or support@cfmpartners.com for assistance. Our Help Desk hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

Password

First-Time Users
If this is your first time logging in, your password is your last name in lower-case letters. Please be sure to include any spaces or special characters like apostrophes and hyphens.

Returning Users
If you have logged in previously, you were asked to change your password the first time you logged in – your last name is NOT your password.

Resetting Your Password
If you have forgotten your password, close this window and click the Forgot Your Password link to reset your password online.

Don't forget to add your LIMRA credentials to SureLC! This will provide our team your most up to date training certificate to share with carriers. No more sending our office a screenshot every 1-2 years.

Surancebay AML Training Course

To help you maintain your requirements to contract with carriers, SuranceBay offers a free anti-money laundering (AML) course to all producers with a SureLC profile.  It's easy to complete by following the steps below! You can access the course directly or right from your SureLC profile.

  1. Go to gen3advisor.com/online-contracting. SureLC login page to access your profile.
  2. Using the navigation menu, select CE & Training. 
  3. In the Anti-Money Laundering section, select the Start Training button. mceclip2.png
  4. Select the SuranceBay, LLC option.mceclip0.png
  5. From here, you can choose to review the course preparation information either online or offline by downloading the PDF. After becoming familiar with the exam prep information, select Start Test to take the 15-minute exam.  mceclip3.png
  6. If you pass the course, an option to download the certificate is available.mceclip2.png
  7. The certificate is also automatically placed in your SureLC profile on the CE & Training tab and the profile documents tab.mceclip0.pngmceclip1.pngIf you do not pass the course, you can start it again from the Training tab when ready.

Which carriers have officially approved this course?

The carriers listed below have formally approved SuranceBay's Anti-Money Laundering course to satisfy their producer AML training requirement.  It is important to note that the list below does not include every carrier who will accept SuranceBay's free AML course.  There are many carriers who do not have a preferred provider list and will therefore accept AML training from any provider.
